So the folk high school reunion was a blast, just like I thought it would be! Tons of people showed up. I think we were over 50 students from last years class there or something. grin It was a new record. People showed up from all over the country. From the far North to the South.. they showed nevertheless! Laurien even flew in from the Netherlands just to attend the reunion.. after being hospitalized with pnemounia for the past week. shock It was so great to see everyone again! It totally made me miss going to that particular school. All the teachers were so happy to see us as well.. they kept fussing over us! One of them even shed a few tears of joy! It was an awesome day!

On Friday my friend Elise and I went to Drammen, the sixth largest city in Norway. We were invited to Bryndis' 20th birthday party that very night, and we just made a stop along the way to buy her a present and get something to eat. yummy Now, I used to live in Drammen, so it was very weird being there again. It's been about one and a half years since I last went there, and although nothing really had changed too much, it gave me a sense of nostalgia. We met up with Katja, my former stepsister. She was pretty much the same as always. cute We hung around with her for an hour or so. Afterwards we went to Peppe's Pizza and ate a huge pizza on our own. Haha! Bryndis had informed us in advance that she wasn't gonna serve food at her party, so we had to overeat to get through the night without starving. A task we successfully completed!

Then we headed for Bryndis' house. It was a costume party, but Elise and I hadn't really come up with any smart ideas. So we just bought bunny ears and plastic guns, and went as killer bunnies! Oh well, it looked good! wink We were only six people at the party, including the hosts Bryndis and Thomas. Regardless of the lack of people we had a fun night! It was fun being the most sober one at a party for once. Watching people getting drunk and acting a bit stupid was pretty darn entertaining! vodka Usually I'm the one giving away the story of my life after a few drinks, but not this time! I felt pretty bad that Elise and I had to sneak out before everyone got up the next morning, but otherwise we would have to take the bus home. It was so much more practical that her dad could pick us up. So Bryndis, if you read this: I'm sorry we bailed before you got up, but we didn't want to wake you!

Thanks to Elise's father we actually got home pretty early. My mom and sister had gone away for the weekend, so I had the house to myself. I was really tired (due to lack of sleep), so I figured I'd just have a calm night in front of the TV. tv My friend Tine called me and told me I was on the guest list for a privat pre-party for a new club that was opening that very night. So cool! I don't think I've ever been on a guest list.. haha! headphones But I was too tired to go out, so I said no! I promised to go next time, though. So instead I spent the night just as I planned - watching TV and just relaxing.

Recently I've been addicted to a Korean drama called My Girl. It's such an awesome show. Lee Dong Wook (the male lead) is gorgeous! heart I've never really been attracted to that many Asian guys before, but that guy is smoking hot! And the way he portrays the character's emotions.. especially in his eyes.. Wow! I think My Girl has to be one of the best dramas I've ever seen! I love it to pieces! I've seen 11 episodes so far, which means I've got 5 to go before I can see the happy ending! I can't wait! If you're into romance dramas you should definitely see My Girl! biggrin

After nearly two months of silence she speaks. Behold the wonder! Haha. This time I haven't even got a good reason for my two months of website celibacy! dead Beat that! I was just sick and tired of looking at the same old layout, writing the same old stuff about school work being boring as hell.. I didn't feel any inspiration whatsoever. But earlier today I figured out it was time I tried to make a layout again. So I tried.. and ended up being quite pleased with the result! blush Sure, it's a bit messy, and sure I've seen many layouts way better than this one.. but still! I like it, and that's the most important part! And I like the pictures of Ayumi Hamasaki as well! There's a lot of likes today!

A couple of weeks ago I suddenly got my hands on some money! It's actually part of a study loan that I have to pay back in four years or so, but right now I don't really think to much about the future (which may be a foolish decision, but it's mine to make nevertheless). What would you do if you suddenly had like $2000 to spend on whatever you want? shock I never imagined spending money could be so difficult! I went to Oslo to shop - I came back with four manga volumes and a single top. I went to meet my friend in town, and came back with only a scarf and a pair of mittens. Spending money used to be what I did the best... sad It's kinda pathetic, but the fact that I'm getting more.. erm.. economic kinda makes me sad!

I have however discovered the joy of eBay. heart To satisfy the manga and anime geek in me, I bought a Full Moon wo Sagashite wallscroll and a Kyo Sohma cell phone strap. I also discovered that I can save a lot of money by buying Dermalogica skincare products on eBay. A tube of Dermalogica moisturizer (50 ml) costs like $60-65 in shops over here. I got mine for $25 on eBay! Gotta love a great deal like that! biggrin But even though eBay has a lot of neat stuff, there's still not that much I really truly want.. Gaaah! So I still have plenty of money on my bank account! Oh well.. I guess I could try saving some of it.

Earlier I mentioned that I went to meet my friend in town. Come to think of it, the scarf and the mittens weren't all I bought. My friend, Elise, talked me into buying a set of tarot cards and a book to help understand them. I spent a couple of days reading through the book, and earlier today I tried to find out what the future had in store for me. laidback I laid out the cards in the horoscope formation.. and boy was I shocked! The cards that were to describe my current situation totally fit! It was a bit freaky actually! The cards told me I am in a place in my life where I was lacking creativity, that I shouldn't let broken promises bring me down and that I needed to focus on my goals to actually pull through this depressing period. They also said that I needed to let go of my dislike towards authorities, and that I had to follow a structured path. ouch Whoa.. I dunno if I believe stuff like that.. but it was pretty damn accurate, so I guess I'll try it again next month or something! It's fun anyway!

Tomorrow I'm going back to my folk high school - 6 months after our school year there ended. The current class are having an "Open Day", so we're allowed to come watch the entertainment and stuff. grin I'm thrilled! There's so many people I haven't seen at all since mid-May! We were almost 100 students, and as far as I know we're gonna be around 40 people there tomorrow. That's pretty good! The only thing that sucks is that I have to get up around 6 a.m. tomorrow morning... yawn That's gonna be tough! Really tough!
